Wood Paper

■ OAK ■ CEDAR ■ CHERRY ■ BEECH

We love cooking with Wood Paper as these papers are an amazingly unique way of cooking and presenting your favourite recipes.

Wood Paper infuses your meat, fish, seafood, vegetables and fruit with an incredible moistness and a subtle smoky flavour. A modern twist on a centuries old cooking style.

Once soaked Wood Paper becomes pliable, like paper, so any of your favourite foods can be rolled up and cooked in the oven or on the BBQ.

If you want to wow your dinner guests with something unique, a BBQ where every member of the family can create their own Wood Paper parcel or just add some fun and taste to your evening meal- Wood Paper is a must.

We have also found Wood Paper is a fantastic way of presenting fruit and vegetables, try a quickly made fruity desert with ice cream for the kids (and big kids!) and our vegetable medley.

How to cook with your Wood Paper

The Wood Paper must be pre-soaked in water for up to one hour, try soaking them in wine, cider, beer, whisky or juice to create a different flavour.

Soaked Wood Paper becomes very pliable, like paper, so simply roll your wood paper around your favourite foods and tie with butcher's string, scallion onion or a tooth pick.

Try Wood Paper with subtler foods such as seafood, fish, vegetables, cheese such as mozzarella, fruit and tofu. They can be cooked in a baking tray in an oven (Gas Mark 4-5, 350-375˚F) or on a gas or charcoal BBQ but must be placed in indirect heat, such as on tin foil. If you put directly onto open flames or coals, the wood paper will burn up too quickly.

Once cooked, place onto your table. Remember the Wood Paper will be hot. These papers can only be used once but are a sensational way of cooking and presenting your favourite recipes.

If you want to cook a longer fish then use two Wood Papers wrapped together or for smaller, portions of food you can always cut the paper down to size.

Keep your used Wood Paper for the next time you have a BBQ, just crumble it up on the coals and use it to smoke your food.
